Dr Avnindra Gupta

Dr Avnindra Gupta, the director of the centre, has done his graduation and post-graduation from the prestigious Banaras Hindu University.

Thereafter he did his fellowship in retina & vitreous from the well known Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai and then joined as a Vitreo-Retinal consultant there.
Later, he was promoted as the in – charge of Department of Retina Vitreous at Aravind Eye Hospital Tirunelveli.

In his illustrious career, Dr Avnindra Gupta has trained ophthalmologists, and delivered various lectures in national, state and district level conferences and CME programmes. He has also presented difficult cases at various forums. He received Best Video award for his surgical skill in EURETINA (A conference of 5000 retina surgeon of Europe and America) Conference in London With his dedicated efforts in the field of ophthalmology, Dr. Avnindra Gupta is a National Faculty in various Conference which involves teaching and sharing of knowledge.
